Standard post URLs and shortened share links
These are illustrative URL patterns, not links to sample media. Use the real link copied from the specific post you want to check. Shortened links must resolve to a permitted TikTok destination.

How do I copy a TikTok video download link?
Open the video or photo post, use Share, and select Copy link. Paste that single TikTok URL into the matching downloader. Avoid surrounding captions, several links, or a creator username without a URL.
Browser address-bar URLs can also work when they identify the public post. A profile, search page, or sound page may not contain the media that the downloader expects.

Public links and restricted content
SaveMyTok works with public access. A post visible to you inside a signed-in app can still require an account, an approved audience, or a location-specific permission.
Private, deleted, followers-only, and otherwise inaccessible posts may not resolve. SaveMyTok cannot restore removed media or bypass those restrictions, and it does not request your TikTok credentials.
Links that are not accepted
The public downloader rejects non-HTTPS URLs, unapproved domains, and links with embedded credentials or ports. A similar-looking domain such as a TikTok name followed by an unrelated hostname is not a TikTok link.
URLs that exceed the input limit or have malformed syntax also fail validation. Use a freshly copied post link rather than editing hosts or adding unrelated text.
- Plain usernames or incomplete URLs
- HTTP links instead of HTTPS
- Non-TikTok redirect destinations
- Links that contain login credentials
- A caption or share message pasted together with the URL
