No. SaveMyTok does not ask you for a TikTok password or session cookie. Posts that require an account, a private audience, or another access restriction cannot be retrieved.

Use an HTTPS link on tiktok.com, www.tiktok.com, vm.tiktok.com, or vt.tiktok.com. Copy the post link using TikTok’s Share menu; a profile link or search page may not contain downloadable media.

No. SaveMyTok runs in your browser on phones, tablets, and computers.

Copy a public video’s link, paste it into the Video Downloader, and submit it. Choose one of the formats returned for that post. Your browser may save the file or open it in a media tab where its save controls are available.

The result cards show formats returned for the individual post. MP4 may be available, but SaveMyTok does not promise one fixed format, file size, or resolution for every video.

A result can offer a higher-resolution source when TikTok makes one available. Read the quality label on the actual result; SaveMyTok does not upscale a lower-resolution video or guarantee 1080p.

No. SaveMyTok processes publicly accessible posts. Private, deleted, region-restricted, or otherwise inaccessible content may not resolve, even when you can view it while signed in elsewhere.

SaveMyTok lists available media sources; it does not edit a downloaded video to erase a watermark. A watermark-free option is only identifiable when the source reports it. An unknown watermark status is not a promise that a file has no watermark.

A public post can expose multiple media sources with similar quality labels. Encoding, source URL, file size, or delivery behavior can differ. Choose the option that works in your browser and matches the information shown.

The Audio Downloader can offer an audio source when the public post exposes one. The file remains in its actual source format. Audio availability can differ from video availability.

No. SaveMyTok currently returns available source audio and does not perform MP3 conversion. Renaming another audio file to .mp3 does not convert its encoding.

Use the available source and inspect the downloaded file’s actual type. Formats can vary by post. SaveMyTok does not promise MP3, a particular bitrate, or studio-quality audio.

Some posts expose playable video without a separate audio file. Music licensing, access restrictions, and post-specific source differences can also limit audio. Try another public post or use the available video option if you have permission.

The Photo Downloader checks public photo and slideshow links for available images. A slideshow stored as a video is a video file; it is not automatically split into original photos.

When multiple images are returned, the interface offers individual links and a ZIP option. ZIP packaging happens in your browser and depends on the browser being allowed to fetch the image sources.

A media source can refuse a browser fetch because of network or cross-origin restrictions. Save the available images individually if ZIP packaging fails or does not include the expected files.

SaveMyTok runs in modern mobile and desktop browsers. Clipboard permissions and download controls differ between browsers, so manual pasting and the browser’s own save controls may be necessary.

Apple documents that internet downloads can be found in the Downloads folder in the Files app. The chosen storage location can be iCloud Drive or On My iPhone, depending on Safari settings.

Browsers can deny clipboard access. Tap or focus the TikTok URL input and paste the link manually using your device’s standard paste controls.

Check that it is a complete HTTPS TikTok post link, without extra text. Confirm that the post is still public. An invalid URL, inaccessible post, restricted short link, or temporary upstream problem can prevent a result.

Wait for the current request to finish, then retry once after a short pause. Repeated submissions can trigger rate limiting. If several public links fail, check the troubleshooting guide or contact support.

Browsers do not always honor the download attribute for a file on another domain. A media source may open in a separate tab; use the browser’s available Save or Download controls instead.

The inspected downloader passes the link to its resolver and does not insert the pasted URL into its event tables. Those tables record coarse service information such as tool type, outcome, device category, country code, and processing duration. Hosting providers may retain request metadata under their own policies.

The resolver returns available media information without building a stored video or audio library. Supported files can be streamed through SaveMyTok using short-lived download links; other sources may remain direct links. Photo ZIP files are assembled in your browser.

Public availability does not grant permission to reuse a creator’s video, audio, or photos. Respect the creator’s rights and any applicable permissions, licenses, and platform rules before downloading or sharing content.

No. Only public links can be checked. We do not help bypass privacy settings or access controls.

The resolver does not store submitted TikTok URLs. Operational events contain only coarse metadata.
