How to download TikTok photos and slideshows

Open the original photo post and use its Share menu to copy the link. The Photo Downloader checks that post for image sources. A link copied from a creator’s profile will not necessarily identify a specific slideshow.

  1. Copy the public photo post’s link.
  2. Paste it into the Photo Downloader above.
  3. Review the images returned for that post.
  4. Choose Save Photo for individual pictures, or Download All Photos when multiple images are available.

How TikTok photo slideshows and carousel posts work

A TikTok photo slideshow, also called a carousel post, contains swipeable pictures that may expose separate image sources. A sequence of photos rendered into a video is still a video source, not a collection of original photo files.

SaveMyTok does not split videos into still frames or reconstruct missing original images. If a post exposes a playable video instead of photos, check the Video Downloader rather than expecting a photo ZIP.

Image formats and resolution

The downloader uses the image sources returned for the public post. Their resolution and encoding depend on what the source provides. A preview on the page is not a guarantee of a specific pixel size or watermark status.

Download the actual image to inspect it. Cropping, captions, or stickers embedded by the creator remain part of the picture. The service does not promise original camera files or remove graphics from photos.

Saving several images as a ZIP

ZIP packaging happens in your browser. It needs to fetch each returned image source, so a network failure or a source’s cross-origin policy can prevent an image from being included.

If the archive is incomplete or packaging fails, save the available photos individually. The ZIP is a convenience for a supported set of sources, not a guarantee that every image can be fetched by every browser.

Save pictures on mobile or desktop

On a phone, a photo link may open in the browser instead of saving immediately. Use the device’s available image save or file download controls. A ZIP normally appears in the browser’s file downloads rather than your photo library.

On desktop, use the browser’s downloads list to locate images and extract ZIP files before viewing the individual pictures. Respect the creator’s permission before sharing a downloaded slideshow elsewhere.

Photo & slideshow download questions

Can SaveMyTok download TikTok photo slideshows?

The Photo Downloader checks public photo and slideshow links for available images. A slideshow stored as a video is a video file; it is not automatically split into original photos.

Can I save all photos at once?

When multiple images are returned, the interface offers individual links and a ZIP option. ZIP packaging happens in your browser and depends on the browser being allowed to fetch the image sources.

Why is a ZIP missing some photos?

A media source can refuse a browser fetch because of network or cross-origin restrictions. Save the available images individually if ZIP packaging fails or does not include the expected files.
