Invalid or incomplete TikTok URL
Paste one complete HTTPS TikTok link without a surrounding caption or message. Supported hosts are tiktok.com, www.tiktok.com, vm.tiktok.com, and vt.tiktok.com.
A profile, search page, or sound-library link may not identify a retrievable post. Return to the exact video or photo post and use its Share link. If a shortened link fails, use the standard public post URL when available.
Private, removed, or restricted post
A post can stop being public after its link was shared. Deleted content, an account requirement, regional restrictions, or creator privacy settings can prevent retrieval.
Seeing a post inside your own signed-in TikTok session does not prove that it is publicly accessible. SaveMyTok does not request credentials or bypass the original platform’s restrictions.
Timeout, processing error, or rate limit
A timeout can come from temporary network or upstream delays. Wait for the current request to finish, pause, then retry once. Test a different public post to determine whether the failure is specific to one link.
Repeatedly submitting the same URL can reach the service’s rate limits. If a notice asks you to wait, follow it rather than opening several tabs. Contact support when several public posts fail consistently; include the error message and browser, without passwords or private tokens.
A result appears, but the file will not download
The remote source may open in a media tab instead of starting a file save. Browsers can ignore cross-domain download hints. Use the source tab’s available Save or Download controls, or try another returned source.
Check storage and the browser’s download status. A media URL can expire, so request a fresh result if an old source has stopped working. Avoid disabling browser security as a troubleshooting step.
iPhone downloads are missing from Photos
Safari may save the file in Files. Check the Downloads folder under the location selected in Safari settings, which can be iCloud Drive or On My iPhone.
A media file saved to Files does not necessarily appear in Photos automatically. Open the completed file and use a supported share action if you want to copy it elsewhere.

Audio is unavailable or the format is not MP3
A public video can have no separate audio source. The Audio Downloader returns available source files and does not convert them into MP3.
Keep the actual source extension and use a compatible player. If the source is missing, try another post; renaming a video or audio file does not create a different encoding.
Slideshow images or ZIP files are incomplete
Confirm that the post contains separate photos rather than a video montage. A restricted or unsupported photo post may not return images.
ZIP packaging runs in your browser and depends on successful source fetches. Cross-origin restrictions or a network error can prevent an image from being included. Use individual image links when packaging fails.
What to include in a support request
Describe whether processing failed, the result appeared but could not save, or a completed file would not open. Include the visible message, browser name, device category, and the relevant public post link only if you are comfortable sharing it.
Do not send TikTok passwords, login cookies, internal service credentials, or unrelated personal information. Read the privacy policy before sending a support message, because contact form details are stored for support handling.
Common questions
Should I retry continuously?
No. Wait for the current request, then pause before retrying. Repeated requests can trigger rate limits and do not make a private or removed post public.
Can support retrieve private content for me?
No. The service works with supported public posts and does not bypass private access restrictions.
